Why A-Coils Fail
What You Get With This Service
If your coil is frozen: we shut the system down safely, allow it to thaw completely, identify what caused the freeze-up (almost always an airflow issue), and fix that root cause so it doesn’t happen again.
If the coil has a repairable leak: we repair the leak, pressure test to confirm the fix holds, then evacuate and recharge the system.
If the coil needs replacement: we match the replacement coil precisely to your existing system, capacity, refrigerant type, and cabinet dimensions all need to align correctly. A mismatched coil causes performance problems and can void manufacturer warranties on the rest of the system. We pull a vacuum, recharge to spec, and verify cooling performance before we leave.

We needed two ac units and one furnace for our dual zone townhome. We shopped around for quotes, but we decided to go with Alan because of his competitive quote, knowledge of the products, and quick responses to our text messages.
The project was difficult installation because one of the furnaces is on the top floor of our townhome and the two ac units are on the top roof. Alan's crew had to go up and down the fire escape and ladder to bring in and install new the units.
They did a great job! They did not stop working until all three units were installed. They even came when it was raining. After a couple of weeks, we noticed an unusual sound coming from the new HVAC. I texted Alan and his crew came two days in a row to diagnose and fix problem.
We highly recommend them. Really great work!

We had a very good experience with Tabor's. Our thermostat was dead; we called Tabor's at 11 on Saturday, and Alan was out there to take a look by 2. It took him less than half an hour to get everything figured out and to install a new thermostat. At a reasonable price, too!
